Youth Hike ~ Monday, June 12th @ 8am

We are partnering up with the youth from Providence for a Hike & Scavenger hunt at French Creek State Park (both Middle School & High School youth). We will meet at the church at 8am on Monday, June 12th and will return by 1pm. Please let us know if your youth will be able to attend so that we can make sure we have enough drivers. (Parents are welcome to come on this trip too!) Other details: Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for whatever the weather will be that day, good tennis shoes or hiking boots, bug spray, sunscreen, bagged lunch, and water.

CCF Youth Ministry

1396058_843519538583_141633918_nOur approach to youth ministry is to develop teenagers that become disciples of Jesus Christ and who, in turn, disciple others. We want to draw teenagers to Christ by expressing His unconditional love to them through word and witness. The aim of our youth group meetings are to provide a safe and loving atmosphere for each young person to connect and build relationships with adult leaders, peers, and above all Jesus Christ. It is within this setting that leaders are able to interact with students to address the spiritual, emotional, and social needs unique to today’s youth.

Youth Group meetings . . .

On Thursday nights at 7:00 pm, high school students gather to be real with each other; whether they are playing basketball in the gym or having small group discussions in the youth room, open and honest relationships are developed. Throughout the week, small groups of high school students meet to foster intimate relationships where they hold each other accountable and grow together in their faith. Sunday night from 6:00-7:30 pm middle school students take over the church with their energy: games, talk, and worship are just the beginning. Students from many different schools come together and form relationships that go beyond surface level.
